Oregon offers World-Class skiing on Mt. Hood, less than 60 minutes from Downtown Portland, and Mt. Bachelor in Central Oregon. Lodging is limited around Mt. Hood, but with its close proximity to Portland, many skiers are more than happy to make day trips to ski. Mt. Bachelor is more of a destination ski area with numerous resorts within 30 minutes of its slopes.
